About

Hello! I’m Chris Lavelle, a Glaswegian born and raised in, you guessed it, Glasgow.
I deliver projects, coach football and play guitar. I love cycling

Professional
I’m a Senior Project Manager at the University of Glasgow.
My professional approach is built on relationships, collaboration, and cooperation. I draw upon my grounding as a high school teacher, working in various sectors, and then an extended stint at Jacobs.
I recognised early I was too much of a talker and tinkerer to be an expert in one area.
I’m the guy who will find the person or thing that will help you get what you need.
So, Project Management naturally lends itself to my skill set.

Causes
I deeply value human connections and the transformative essence of community. My affiliations with organizations like the Glasgow Eco Trust and United Glasgow Football Club underscore my commitment to sustainable development and inclusivity. Through diverse cultural interactions, I’ve come to champion the potential within every individual and the collective strength of communities.

The Post

Join me, Chris Lavelle, on Horizon Glasgow, where I tackle the big ideas and local issues shaping our city and beyond. With a mix of local insight, my take on humour, and a no-nonsense approach, I’ll break down topics and share stories that challenge, inform, and push for a fairer, greener future. Let’s cut through the noise and get to what really matters.
